My camcorder has a SD slot, But it is a DVD camcorder. Can i still record on to the SD card?

Yes you can. The SD is used in digital cameras and can store video as well. Depending on the pixals and settings of your camera and the size of the SD card depends on how much it can record. Oh and you may or may not get sound it depends on your camcorder. I would just try it and see what happens as far as the sound goes.
