How can i use my DCR-SR36E sony camcorder as a webcam for free?

  • I know of a few software which you can use to convert camcorder to webcam but they are not free. and if i wanted to pay i would have went and bought a webcam. is there anyother way to use my camcorder as a webcam? or any free softwares? when i connect my cam to pc using usb i get 4 options on the cam screen: Usb connection with HDD, Usb connection with memory card, Print, Disc Burn. thanks
