How Can I Put A Youtube Video On A DVD?

How do i take a video off a DVD-recordable and put it on youtube?

  • its a 4.7GB 120min 16x certified DVD from Verbatim, know how i can get this video on youtube

  • Answer:

First you have to get it onto your computer ... then you have to be able to edit it and create 8 minute segments (YouTube only allows 10 minute videos, max ... but I've found I need to keep mine at around 7-8 minutes or they are too large for YouTube to accept). After creating all the segments, you must save them as ".wmv" ... ".mov" or (best) ".mp4" files ... *then* you can upload them to YouTube.

I would think first you need to put it onto your computer hard drive( ripping it) with something like DVD Decrypter (it's a free program, just google it).
