How can I transfer video from tapes to my computer?

I have a camcorder that records on VHS-C tapes, is there any way I can transfer my video to my computer?

There are places that will transfer it for you, but you can do it yourself. The best thing to do is get a Pinnacle AV/DV kit. It comes with a board and the software you need to load your video to your PC, edit it and write it to the media of your choice - DVD, VCD, MiniDV, AVI, etc. your PC will need to be up to par also. If it doesn't already have a DVD burner, you'd be best off to just go buy a new PC because the one you have now will be too slow.

Of course there is. You'll need to buy some more equipment though to adapt the VHS player to your computer. Consult your local computer shop.

*sure - just put it on a cd first - you can do this at Wal-Mart.
