What digital camera takes the SD memory card?

How can I transfer video from my SD memory card to my PC?

  • I have a camera that takes a SD memory card. I have recorded some video that I would like to put onto "Myspace" page. I have a HP comp and a HP fax/printer/copier that allows me to put in my memory card and see the pictures I have taken. However..I don't know how to view the video I have taken. Any one know how to help me? I'm a smart girl..but I don't know it all when it comes to this stuff-so keep it simple please : )

    i assume that your operating system is windows. from what i understand is you do not know which player should you use to view your video right? usually cameras use standard type of file which .mpeg or .avi and so on. so it will not be a problem for you to use any video players including the windows media player. if you cannot open it using the player the next step is to do download a codec. i would recommend you to download k-lite mega codec (search for the latest version) and run it. after the process try to play the video again and there shouldn't be any problems onwards. u can get the codec here http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm Good Luck!

you shuld also be able to see the videos in MY COMPUTER under the removable drive letter for that card they will be either AVI or MOV files

Like said before you can use My Computer and click the corresponding drive and find your video files. But you can also connect your camera with a usb cord and upload it that way. I prefer the cord because its much faster because i have a card reader on my hp printer and its slow!
