Where to get a Fuzzy Video Camera effect?

Question about HD video camera/Canon T2i?

  • I was considering getting a Canon T2i because of its ability to take excellent HD video and because I like how you can manually focus the camera to create professional looking footage. I would use the camera primarily for video, so it got me thinking that maybe I should just get a 1080p HD camcorder and save some money, my question is, will a high quality 1080p HD camcorder take the same quality video as the Canon T2i? And also, is there any way to get the manual focus effect on a camcorder, either through a lens or something? Thanks

    the T2i is a camera cameras take good photos camcorders take good video cameras have crap sound camcorders have reasonable sound most cameras have focus once when taking video camcorders constantly focus cameras take about 5mins of video before they fry their chips(or just switch off) camcorders can record 90mins no problem. cameras are very difficult to hold steady camcorders are specially adapted to make that easier need i go on?
