What ski movie is throw it up in?

I want to make a decent ski movie this winter?? Any tips?

  • Me and my friends want to make a ski movie this winter I want to know what camcorder we should be using and one that works with iMovie and what else we might need. Were not doing any crazy cliffs just some park and powder. Thanks.

    ANY camcorder that uses FireWire should work with a Mac. I'd highly recommend a Canon or Sony MiniDV camcorder. For instance, in my film production/video production classes, we have two Sony Handycams that usually go for about $3,000. There's also three cheaper Sony Handycams--all are MiniDV. I've heard MiniDV has some of the best, if not the best, quality for digital video. To browse through camcorders, check out http://www.jr.com Also, always use a tripod, if possible!
