How do I finalize a DVD in my camcorder?

How can i finalize a disk for my DVD Camera without using the charger?

• i just finished recording a health project with my group, and i'm responsible for editing it. I have a hitachi camera, and i used a mini-dvd disk. i LOST the charger, when it requires one to finalize the disk. I currently have the travel charger, which requires to remove the battery. i HAVE the USB wire. How can i make my USB wire to act as a charger instead of PC to Camcorder?

  You don't. The camcorder will not finalize unless it is plugged into power because if you lose battery power during the finalization process, ALL the video on the disc will be corrupted and you won't be able to do anything with it. The USB port on the camcorder was not designed to provide power to the camcorder. The computer's USB port cannot provide the amount of power the camcorder needs.
