How can i get a still picture off of a recorded Dvd. Sony Dvd recorder. Like, i pause the shot, and i want to get a picture of that shot on my computer ,how can i do it???

Answer:
The easiest way would be if your computer has a DVD drive... play the DVD to the picture you want then pause. Then Alt-Prt Scrn and IMMEDIATELY (before you copy anything else) paste into Word or PowerPoint or whatever image manipulation application you use. The quality of the still will not be very good. ++++++++++++++++ A more difficult way would be to rip the DVD with a ripper like HandBrake and sve the highest quality as possible in a file type your video editor can use. Get to the image you want and save that frame as a jpeg or whatever the video editor allows for... Again, the quality of the still will not be very good.
