What's the best camcorder you can buy?

Whats the best camera or camcorder to buy with a budget of maximum $350?

• i recently bought a kodak playsport pocket camcorder. it seemed like the right decision at the time. the video quality and image resolution looked great on the lcd screen but when uploaded to my computer the still shot images were not that great and the video quality was very jumpy, scratchy and made many pauses. im looking for something thats HD or otherwise has good quality vids, pics and or filming. i want it to preform well in indoors and outdoors, for low light performance and to be easy of use and of course compact. im gonna be using this camera for projects and business as well as family vacations and other holidays and stuff. thnx

  I would probably grab gopro hd hero , as they are waterproof (like the playsport) and very versatile , for low light they are quite good to , considering the problem you will run into with almost all small cheap camera's is making the most of low light thje gopro allows you to set the spot focus for light , and this although not brilliant gets rid of noise which in turn allows brightness and contrasting to recover the light and brighten in post
