I need help With buying a Professional Camcorder....>.>?

I need one for a movie i want to make with my freind if there up for it. But i love camreas and i need Help with buying one Requieriments -Under $700 dollars -At least 11 megapixels -Good Zoom -It has to be new

There is no such thing as a professional camcorder under $700. Professional camcorders have lens diameters larger than 60mm and imaging chips 1/3 inch and larger. Camcorders - and video - are not measured using megapixels. That is a still camera measurement. Camcorders are measured using horizontal lines for resolution. Professional camcorders use XLR audio connectors. At your budget, the closest you can get is a (consumer) Canon HV30.

why do you need 11mp, on the vid cam. Are you wanting to take still shots too? Nix the 11mp request and i would op for a Canon hv20 or hv30 and you will no be disappointed
