How to transfer a video from a camera to a PC?

Video file on camera too large to transfer to PC, how can I make it shorter?

  • I have about an hour and a half long video on my digital camera &it won't let me transfer it onto my PC because the file size is too large. I'm frustrated because I only want the first 2 minutes of it. Is there any way or a program I can use that'll help me cut the video time on my camera shorter so I'll finally be able to transfer the file?

I don't really see why it won't let you. If you were trying through a program, go to the start menu (big ol button on the bottom left of windows) and go to my computer, find external memory or whatever represents your camera, then try to take the file yourself.
