Which flip mino camera is better?

Which flip camera is the best: the slide, ultra, or mino?

• i really want a flip camcorder, but i cant decide which one is better. the slide has alot of space and is the most expensive, and i dont know alot about the other two...please, if somebody knows from experience or knows someone tht knows from experience, tht would be great. thanks :)

  Skip the slide, unless you can get it for really, really cheap. The mechanics of the slide out screen arguably means more possible points of failure. To me, the appeal of the Flip is the complete lack of features, widgets, and moving parts, meaning there's little to truly screw up. It has the larger screen and larger memory options, but unless you expect to be away from a computer for a very long time, the 2 hour capacity of the others is plenty. That leaves the Mino and Ultra. I'm probably a little biased towards the Mino since I own one, but it is slimmer and has even less parts than the Ultra. The Ultra has physical buttons (the Mino has touch sensitive pads except for the record button,) and I believe can also use AA batteries. The touch-buttons on the Mino can be a little unresponsive unless you hit them just right. But it's primarily to control the digital zoom which should never be used. Also, pick up a sturdy monopod to go with whatever you choose, (Targus makes a nice one for $20,) and you'll be finding all kinds of fun ways to shoot with it.
