Where can i get my Video Tape made into a DVD?

I have baby tapes of me when I was litlle and I don't want to lose them, because video's are out of fashion and I really want the tapes on a dvd? Does anyone know where I can get it done? Which shops in The UK, Wirral, Mersey-Side, can make video tapes into dvds, please help me, I'm worried if I get a machine it'll wipe away the video from the tape, will it happen :(

You can buy your own video to DVD transfer unit. It's super easy and available at most electronic stores. I bought my 65 yr. Old mother one and she has no problems with it.
