IMovie help?

Anyone help with iMovie and exporting videos ? See below?

  • I'm trying to export a video captured using iMovie so that I can write it onto a DVD to send to a client but each time we try the quality diminishes. The video was shot in 16:9 HD NTSC and I need to have it so the quality is HD and doesnt go down. Whats the best format to export it to? and what settings do I need to select on iMovie ? There are lots of export settings on iMovie but I'm not sure which to select. Can anyone please tell me which I should choose or help me on ICQ/Yahoo or MSN?

  • Answer:

try exporting it with QuickTime and set it for Full Quality(this is wheere your video quality comes from)... then try taking the new QuickTime file you just made and open it in iDVD to create a new DVD.. or MAYBE, you could put the file into iTunes, and then maybe burn it onto a DVD??? i'm not sure if iTunes does that though... but i would check cause iTunes can usually handle stuff very well. hope you figure it out..=\ and i think iDVD would be your best bet.
