How to use Flip camera videos on windows movie maker?

  • how can I use my Flip Camera (actual Flip Brand) videos on Windows Movie Maker? It tells me the file type isn't supported... this makes me really mad. Why would they do this when they made the camera?

    I guess yout flip camera capture videos in mp4 format which is not supported by wmm.You need a converter to convert flip video to wmv, avi for windows movie maker: http://www.any-format-converter.com/flip-video-converter.html Download the trial version for evaluation. Windows Movie Maker will not handle Flip videos (mostly in MP4 format), it can only accepts a few file formats like avi, wmv, mpg, asf etc, if u want to use ur Flip camera videos on it, u will have to convert them to the proper formats, as far as I know, there is one application proved to be good, and i'd like to share it with u, just have a look, hope can help u
