Good camcorder for night?

Where can i find a good night vision camcorder?

  • My boyfriend wants one and his birthday is coming up at the end of May he specifically said he doesn't want night shot he wants night vision...i don't know if they only call it night shot for camcorders or not...he already has one that just have regular night shot...he does want the green effect that comes with night vision...does anybody know of a good model that has this affect?

What is your budget - Sony is generally your best option for shooting video in dark to no-light. I typically use Canon camcorders for everything I shoot, but if I needed to shoot in ultra-low light, the Sony Nightshot is the best.
