What Is a good, high quality camera for filming videos and taking pictures? HELP!?

  • My birthday is coming up real soon! What is a good camera/ video camera that can take HD photos and videos. I like cameras that have a screen that's flippable so you can see yourself while you are taking a video. (if you know what im talking about) But I want a camera that has a setting where you can change the brightness of your video cause I don't have good lighting! And I want a camera that auto focuses and you could also focus it yourself! I just need an amazing camera for my youtube videos! Thanks so much! And if you can list prices that would be awesome!!

    Well, canon makes some great DSLs in the picture category. For video, I would highly recommend the canon XA10 it is the least expensive prosumer camera out there. It records amazing footage, look it up online. There is a website called B&H that can also help you find the right camera. There are some cameras that even double as video and picture. Go to b&h.com, its very helpful
