What software i can use in making a video?except the movie maker?

What is a similar movie making software to Windows Movie Maker?

  • I just got an avchd camera and can't use Movie Maker for my editing anymore. I make many youtube videos, so I am in desperate need of a new software. I'm looking for anything around the 100 dollar price range that is very very similar to the layout of Movie Maker. I'm not very computer savy, so I'm not looking for anything too complex. Oh, yeah and obviously it has to work with AVCHD.

    Final Cut Sony Vegas (you can get a trial version, it has alot of stuff and never runs out but there are SOME features it doesnt have unless you buy it) adobe cs5

Magix Movie Editing Software is amazing! Sony Vegas Pro is great too but is quite pricey. I know one version of the Magix is about $60.
