How do you put pictures from a memory card on to my computer ?

  • alright, i know how you put the memory card into the mmc slot but when i do that nothing pops up on my computer to show that the pictures are being put on to it. on my old card i put it in the computer and a guide would pop up and ask me what i wanted to do with it. I got a 4gb card and i took tons of pics and now i want to put them on my computer and nothing is working is there any other way of getting them on my computer?

    Unfortunately the built in card readers on computers and printers will not recognize memory cards over 1G, you can buy an external card reader for 10.00 to 15.00 dollars and it will read all sizes of cards.

Open 'My Computer' then click on the memory card(Whatever it is called) and drag and drop to your chosen file on your desktop. Or, if that doesn't work, put the memory card back in the camera, connect the camera to the computer using a usb, then in 'my computer' double click on the name of your camera, and the pictures should be there. If this doesn't work, consult your camera manual :)
