How to watch movies in camcorder?

Watch Movies on Camcorder?

When I can watch Recorded Videos and Captured photos on my Sony Camcorder,Isn't it possible to watch Movies or listen to Music on a Camcorder? If possible,cant I connect it to a Music system or a Television Set and use the camcorder as a External Storage device? Please Help me on this issue..And kindly assist me regarding the procedure I must follow(Formats to change). Thanks in advance

It could be possible, with some camcorders, but you will need to select your format correctly also use the same codec as the camera uses, they would not be so forgiving as your computer/media player. Its impossible to go into the exact spec as you do not provide a model or make of the camcorder. This is only hypothetical, never done, probably not may others who have. Good luck RR
