How to convert NTSC(US) camera footage for PAL(UK,Europe,Asia) screens? I will be working on Final Cut Pro?

Hi! I have a bit of a problem. I am a 3rd year Film Studies Student at University and i bought a camera to film my final Film Project. I am in the UK. However, since i purchased the camera online i stupidly only just realised that it is made for the US format which is NTSC. However, Here the format is PAL. Buying another camera is a bit of a problem right now. I am wondering if i can convert the footage for PAL and how good that conversion will be? I will be editing on Final Cut Pro and i am aware that does the NTSC conversion but is it going to damage my footage significantly? Yur Help and Advice will be much appreciated!

you can convert the ntsc files to Pal without major problems only a side note is a luma and color balance . feel free to contact me and i help you the best i can I do this often .... what camera did you buy and what format do you shoot ? (SD , HD) ?
