How do people record ther tv screen like on YouTube videos?

It looks like it wasn't filmed by a handheld camera and that their tv screen recorded it. I don't know.

Answer:
There's actually this really great product called a dazzle that connects RCA or s-video to usb so it receives the signal like a webcam. I use it and it works very well. I don't know if there are other products like this one but I know that there are other dazzles now that can connect hdmi cables or component rca and probably other things the same way. You should be able to pick up a dazzle at best buy, that's where I got mine.

They probably just imported/downloaded the video on the tv screen and edited it into the video.
