How can I fix the audio/video delay in Windows Live Movie Maker?

• This has been a recurring problem. First, my friend wanted to do some bass covers to put on either FB or Youtube, I don't remember. I recorded it with my Flip Ultra HD camera. It came out good in Flip share, so I exported it to a separate folder to put it in Windows Live Movie Maker (I think it's version 14, if it matters, I have Windows 7). When it got there, I thought it was ok, but he watched through it and realized the audio finishes long before the video does, and goes out of sync shortly after beginning. I saved them to a disk for him anyway, but they were still messed up. Now I want to post one of my own covers of a song. I did the same process, but Movie Maker doesn't fit the audio right, and sometimes the video looks glitchy. I have posted a cover before, but exported it straight from Flip share to Youtube. This one needs a little editing, so I went to Movie Maker to cut a few parts. I'm somewhat new to all this video stuff, but I would love some help with this. Could the problem be that the Flip shoots 60 fps, and Movie Maker only handles 30 fps? I don't know if it only handles 30, but I'm just throwing out suggestions. Help is much appreciated!
