What video camera do i need for helmet camera recording?

Hello i`m trying to find out what video camera i need to get. What it should be able to have is a way to plug in a helmet video camera, and a helmet microphone. So that i can plug them in and record it. Video input/recording and Audio input/recording I have looked at sony but even the expensive ones all have a big no next to the option, maybe i`m understanding the specifications wrong. I`m trying to make a documentary and doing this at a non-profit, so i would like to find a non expensive one. Any suggestions would be great, thanks allot.
