How can i transfer video footage from a 1997 video camera model to my PC?

i would check out a radio shack. I'm betting that there's an adapter that would take those cables to a usb. I'm guessing that there isn't a memory card slot on your machine? or if you had even a vcr you could attach it to your tv and then record it to a vhs tape. then you could easily get walmart or walgreens to transfer that vhs to dvd. while it's extremely low-tech, you wouldn't have to go to radio shack and deal with THAT. good luck, either way.
