How do i charge my flip camera?

How long do i have to charge my new flip camera?

  • i just got my new mino HD flip and i was wondering if i could use it after like an hour of charging ?to record a 10 min video. and then charge ti again. say it had to charge 4 hours tthe first time . and i use it after an our wat will happen to it, will it wreck it?

    hehe Chrissie - I started using mine out of the box! What happens is that you need to train the battery. As long as you charge it full and then drain it down you will "teach" it to use it's full potential. You can't hurt it to badly!

if it's anything new, charge it overnight, no questions asked. New things have to be charged overnight to get the battery into sync and so it lasts longer. then run it DEAD flat and charge it overnight again. Then you can let off a little. I had to wait over 3 days to use my iPod touch, coz no one was home while i had to charge it for the reccomended 24 hrs.

it's recommended you charge it fully the first time. However, if you cant' wait to play with your new toy, it won't damage it if you use it before the 4 hours. it won't give you the full run-time, that's it.

Charging usually takes from 1 1/2 hrs to 3 hours. No it won't wreck it to use it before it's fully charged.
