How to get a small clip from a long video?

  • I recorded a 5 minute long video on my camera, and now i want to just have a small part from it. How do i take that part only and delete the rest?

Drag the movie on Windows Movie maker or any other video editing software. And just Trim/Cut it. Basically in every video editing software, u have to select the timeline u want to cut and then simply hit delete.

Use Windows Movie Maker or Adobe Premiere if you really want to edit videos. A really easy way would be to DL VLC Player Play your video with it. Click display advanced options and use the record button at the start of the part you want and click it again to end it. Easy.
