How do you import a video in Windows Movie Maker?

How can i import a video file onto windows movie maker?

im trying to download a video, without having to download some weird movie watching thing,.,or something. When i finally find it in my documents. i click it then click on import, it says "The file C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures\pikachu\pikachu 002.mov is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker." how can i download the video without tat comming up?!

Files associated with Windows Movie Maker Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv you might have to convert your files using http://www.handbrake.fr/ this is a free video converter.
