How do I edit my videos?

How can you edit quicktime videos for free?

  • I have an iphone 3GS. And I want to edit my videos like adding some music too it.. Try to make some part slow motion and stuff like that.. Adding special effects too. I can edit videos using windows movie maker but I can't edit quicktime videos using windows movie maker. So is there a way that I can edit my quick time video? For free. And my computer is windows XP. Its not Mac. Thank you. :)

    1) Get the video from the iPhone to your computer. 2) Convert the video to a format your video editor can deal with. MovieMaker likes WMV. MPEG StreamClip http://www.squared5.com/ is a good converter - there are many others. 3) After the file is converted, quit MPEG StreamClip and launch MovieMaker (bundled with SP2 or newer). 4) Drag the converted file to the Capture area.. 5) Edit. 6) Save As... if you want to upload, check the video sharing site for file formats - WMV is generally accepted - among a lot of others. The effects you have available are limited to what the editor can do.

I`m Windows XP user too, Quicktime videos is MOV format, if U want edit it on your Windows Movie Maker, I think U need convert MOV format to WMV format which be supported by Windows Movie Maker.
