How do i extend the video record time on my camera?

I have a power shot pro 1 canon 8.0 mega pixel. I can only record for 3 min at a time and i would like to learn how to set it so i can record unlimited amount of video. Any help would be grateful.

My canon only records for 60 seconds at a time and I can't find any place where you might be able to change it.
