Good video camera that's not too expensive?

What's a good video camera and editing software thats not really pricey or expensive?

  • I want to make good quality youtube videos with good effects and a good qualitly camera WITHOUT breaking the bank. Currently using windows movie maker and a flip camera, cheap one, non HD

Well, editing software is expensive. The only cheap software better than movie maker is iMovie, which comes on a mac. But it sounds like you have a pc, so I would check out adobe premiere pro. For cameras, check out these: http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/camcorders/consumer_camcorders Canon makes very good cameras, and these are in the price range of $200-$1000 Hope this helps! :)
