I'm looking to buy a great camcorder to capture my life experiences on video. Please, give me a suggestion. Nothing too big and nothing too small. Great quality and functionality.

canon ZR960. $250. miniDV is great for a long term project, the tapes become the archive. i have gone through 6 computers since i got my first miniDV and i am glad i have video saved on tape instead of hard drives
