Which camcorder would be best for making youtube videos?

I want a camcorder for making youtube videos.?

  Hi Rachel: You might not be aware that Cisco is discontinuing the "Flip" series, which also have a bad reputation in general. The Sony Bloggie (and the Kodak Z-series) pocket camcorders aren't much better (they all shoot highly-compressed MP4 video — great for uploading, not so much for action-shots), but at least you'll still have customer support a year or two from now. Make a trip to a good electronics store or camera store where you can try particular models "hands on". You'll be less-disappointed when you can record and playback test footage yourself. hope this helps, --Dennis C.
