How can I improve the quality of my videos?

Memory stick pro duo, will it improve the quality of my videos?

I have a sony sx40 handycam and when i upload the videos to my computer via usb it looses it's quality. Will getting the memory card pro duo and having the computer upload the video's from that improve the picture quality of the videos?

The memory card will not effect the quality of your video. It is common for video to sometimes look less desirable on a computer screen. It could be a number of things that might make your video look that way. Things like your computer display adapter is not optimized and/or monitor settings are off, etc. Surprisingly, even if the video that didn't look so good on your computer will actually look fine once it's burned to a DVD. That is because the program you use to burn the DVD will prepare it for TV viewing. Video should match it's original appearance if you connect the camera directly to your LCD television and watch the video that way.
