How can I connect my Sony Digital Camcorder to my PC?
-
I have a DCR-HC19E camcorder that I'm trying 2 connect 2 Windows Vista. I've downloaded the new software and drivers from Sony but it says I need an ilink cable. All I have is a USB cable. Windows Movie player just can't find the camcorder at all. Can I get round this without buying an ilink cable?

Answer:
You don't need drivers at all - forget it. All you need is an iLink (FireWire) cable and a suitable port on your PC. That's all. Easy.
