Why isn't my Insignia NS-DCC5HB09 Digital Camcorder not turning on?

  • I charged my Insignia NS-DCC5HB09 Digital Camcorder all night so it would be able to work today... but it didn't..... so now I'm trying to charge it on the computer. I don't know what to do.... ♥ ♥ ♥

    Does the battery indicator on the LCD show that the battery is charged? It's likely that the battery will need to be replaced if all signs point to it being charged and the camcorder will still not power from the battery. Also, you must use the power cable included with the Insignia camera, it will not charged connecting it by USB cable to the computer. ...and when I say the power cable that came with the camera I do mean that cable and not a similar cable with a USB end (ie like a cell phone cable), it may light up but it isn't charging unless it is insignia's power cable.
