What are some good skateboarding cameras?

I need a good skateboarding cameras, open for details?

• I'm wanting a nice skateboarding camera. I'd prefer it to be cheapish. Defiantly under $1000, and I'd like it to be alot cheaper than that. I want it to take good quality videos and have pretty good fps (frames per second.) If possible, It'd be good if it took pictures. I want it to have a mic as well. Plus, it'd be nice if it were durable. I need a camera with USB so I can upload it to the computer. If you know any cameras (any brand, sony, canon, etc;) please tell me: 1) The name of the camera and the make. 2) The price of the camera. 3) If you own it, know some one who owns it, or if it's just a recommendation. 4) Anything else you feel necessary.   ok, you are not going to get a good camera that uses usb. good cameras use firewire because it transfers information at such a high rate than usb. if your budget is under $1000, you can get a sony vx1000 for about 700 on ebay. the sony vx series is what most professional filmers and amateur filmers use (vx1000, vx2000, vx2100) BUT the vx1000 is discontinued, and you can only buy it used. If you want a new camera, I highly reccomend getting a Panasonic Gs-320 and a baby death. the gs-320 will run you about 350-400 on amazon new, and the baby death about 300-400 (fisheye). This is a great beginner's set-up, because the gs-320 is a 3 chip (so is the vx) which means you will get great color. the vx's and the gs both use mini dv, which is good and bad depending on your point of view. cons : too many tapes pros: better quality than hard drive and dvd because mini dv compresses the footage at a lower rate, thus allowing the clip to have the best quality available and all your footage is backup on the tapes. I highly recommend getting the gs-320 and a baby death, or a kenko.
