Are there any wireless mics for FLIP ULTRA HD?

Need buying advice on camera with HD or near-HD quality video but with audio mics preferably.?

  • Need to focus on quality videos of sports celebrities' interviews, perhaps Hi-Def, probably only because it'll soon become standard quality expected. I don't mind getting a Digital-SLR camera as any still pics are also welcome. Especially because most D-SLR cameras have built in video recording. Is that a good reason to buy a still camera albeit with video recording facility? Price range? Makes? Or is it better to have a handycam with mics, knowing that this camera too will have still photograph facilities and especially since the accent is not truly on still photography? An important aspect is audio. Can I connect multiple mics (2) to either sort of camera via bluetooth/wireless? Eventually, I'll need to weigh advantages and decide what TYPE of camera to buy. Any advise/pointers and often missed inputs welcome. Price range 550 to 850 USD but of course if it's really necessary to go higher, will try. Thanks!

  • Answer:

If you can swing it, the Sony HDR-CX560V is great for this purpose. I use it for school events (concerts, sports) with great success. If you really need to stay in the mentioned price range, the Sony HDR-CX360V is a good alternative. Whatever you do, make sure you have a microphone input (so you can use an external mic) and headphone connector (so you can listen to the recorded audio while recording).
