What is a NTSC camcorder?

PAL/NTSC switchable Plus Tape/solid state camcorder?

  • Hello, I may be asking too much but does any one know if there is a camcorder that can record on tape and Solid state media like Sony Z7 and at the same time is switchable between PAL and NTSC like Sony Z1 camcorder. Your answer is very much appreciated. Ibsa

    PAL/NTSC is no problem with all camcorders in the digital age, as there really is no aspect suited to one tv system. typical aspects are used in conjunction with all TV's that are digital , for your old TV and PAL or NTSC systems , your editing program will render to your desired need , for you analog systems yes there was only the PAL & NTSC , what you record was where you played it , but now it doesn't matter at all unless you are authoring DVD's , and these programs will give you the options for what the intended source will be .
