How do you get the option for high quality on your youtube video?

HOW TO MAKE MY YOUTUBE VIDEO IN HIGH QUALITY?

  • i just uploaded a video and it looks really bad on youtube but there is like no high quality option or anything how do i get it into high quality

    You did not tell us the source of the video (camcorder), what you edited with, what file type you saved as, how much compression you applied to the video... I capture my video in 1080i high definition, import and edit in high definition, render the finished project as a h.264, 720p, high definition file and upload in a mov or avi format... and my YouTube and vimeo videos have the HD button on the bottom right of the video window... Most of the time the high definition button is not available immediately after uploading because additional processing has to be done by YouTube or Vimeo, but eventually it appears. Perhaps this is the same for the "normal" or "high quality" selector button you are looking for... or maybe you uploaded a video file so compressed there is no way to provide "high quality"... We have no way to know.
