A question about my camcorder?

HD Camcorder Question?

• I recently brought a SD Sony camcorder (DCR-SR45) but after playing around with it for a couple of days I was really disappointed with the quality of the video's it produced. Even on the highest settings the video's still look grainy and the colors are disappointing. So instead of putting up with it I thought of returning it for a higher quality HD Sony Camcorder (HDR-SR10) Is this a good idea do any of you own the HDR-SR10? Is the HD worth it? Or should I just put up with the SD DCR-SR45 camcorder?   Sounds like you were recording indoors or in low light. The same will happen with any consumer grade camcorder with a small lens and small imaging chip... including the SR11. Turn on the lights or get a camcorder with a bigger lens and imaging chip like the HDR-FX1000.
