Need a good cheap camera for video editing.. Help?

I want a very good camera for less than $350. I'm going to to some video editing and special effects. My current camera records to those small DVDs and the quality is pretty bad. I don't want that much noise in dark areas. 1080p. I'm doing SERIOUS video editing as a teen, I have all the pro software like Vegas pro and all that's left is a better camera. Links and descriptions please? A good framerate, smooth, and very good looking video would be nice. I know I can be asking to much for a low price, but hey, that's all I can go with.
