What night vision camcorder should I buy?

  • My brother has been talking about a night vision camcorder for a long time and it is his birthday in a month, so I want to surprise him with a good night vision camcorder that he will be happy of. I dont know anything about night vision camcorder so I am reaching out for help here :) I also dont know which company makes good night vision camcorder or what the normal requirements are for a night vision camcorder. I am willing to pay up to 500$ for a night vision camcorder and hope that you guys can help me. Thanks everyone..

    I myself have the Sony DCR-DVD108 which is an awesome night vision camcorder. It records in great quality and has so many great functions. The video quality is so amazing. Your last question said you only wanted Panasonic. Panasonic are certainly not known for their "night vision" cameras, the only company I think have it right are Sony, but as my last answer its a matter of opinion. So you need to decide what make you want to go for, if the camera does not have night vision you cannot add it later. RR
