How do I use my built in camera with MSN?

Question about Built-in camera on a MacBook?

  • Got a new MacBook and I'm trying to figure out how to use the built in camera with and without msn messenger. Can anyone help? Thank you!

    Okay look at the little icons at the bottom. The blue one with the videocamera on it is ichat. it's an instant messager. this is if you want to talk to people online or videochat with them. the little red photobooth at the bottom, that's photobooth, you can take pictures of yourself. the blue movie thing is imovie hd where you can make a video if any of these icons aren't showing up, click the desktop. then at the top, click go. then click applications. look at all the little icons and find the ones you want, or the ones i talked about. when you find what you want, take it and drag it to the bottom with all the other icons ;)

You can use it in "Photo Booth" There you can take pics, and video. I don't use MSN chat, so I really don't know, but maybe MSN doesn't support video. iChat uses it. Also it works well with Skype.
