How do I remove recorded contents from my DVD+R disc?

Will a Sony-R mini disc still work if I remove it from the camcorder and put it back in again?

  • I am currently using a Sony-R mini disc in my camcorder. I need to film something on another mini disc for tomorrow, meaning I need to take the disc I am currently using out. I am not finished with the disc yet though so I need to know whether if I take it out, I will be able to put it back in and continue recording next week?

  • Answer:

yea, once u take it out, it will stop , just like a traditional cassette tape from the 90's . it will keep whatever is on it. so no worries about losing data.

Yes, you can pick up where you left off if you put it back in the same camcorder. Don't expect it be able to continue recording on a different brand/model of camcorder, or to play on a DVD player without closing/finalizing, but you can put a partially-recorded disc back in the same camcorder to continue recording on it.

yes, the camcorder has internal memory so it will remember the serial number of the disc you take out and thus be able to continue later and still finalize properly.
