• High end prosumer video cameras have xlr jacks for mics. If I get a camera like the HVX200, xf105, xha1, etc and a mic and attach it to the camera I will need an xlr cable right? I've looked on amazon and b&h and I can only find really long ones, I need a short one like a foot long right? I can't find them. Usually the high end cameras come with a mic holder attachment right? Can these mics be put on the hotshoe on the handle of the camera?
