How can I edit a dvd power file and turn it into mpeg?
-
I bought a new panasonic camcorder that records on small dvds. When I hook it to the computer it turns into a "dvd power file". Is there some software that I can use to edit the video and then turn it into an mpeg video? I can't seem to make the software that came with the camcorder work.

Answer:
FlaskMPEG is free software that will convert the file on your DVD to a .avi file which is also an editable file like .mpg
