How do I edit a video with 2 clips fliping back and fourth?

Trying to figure out what it is called and also how to do it. When watching a music video you see 2 clips jumping back and fouth in a matter of milliseconds with the beat usual like in hip hop or rap songs. Its an amazing effect or transition i just wanna know if there is a fast way to do it instead of manually...which takes FOREVER please PLEASE help me with this and if you know a place where i can find information on alot of this it would help

It is called a Non Linear Editor (NLE), a video editor, no easy way to do this, and it takes editing skill to do it. I use Pinnacle Studio and I could make a video like that, although I have no desire to do that, with that NLE. http://www.videomaker.com/video/watch/tutorials/694/editing-music-videos/ might be of help to, go view it and see.
