How to save recorded audio on iOS?

Can I edit videos on iMovie (for iOS) that were recorded on a different camcorder?

  • Like, if I recorded HD video on a camcorder and it was saved as an MPEG-4 file, would it be possible to put it onto iMovie for iOS and edit it from there?

  • Answer:

MPEG-4 file is in mp4 video format, if iMovie doesn't meet your need, you can search some other better video editing program. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to edit mp4(MPEG-4) video on mac:http://www.applemacvideo.com/howtoedit/mp4-editor-for-mac.html

iMovie only supported MPEG-2/MPEG-4/Quick Time Movie/AVCHD/DV and HDV(High Definition Video). If you want to import camcorder video to iMovie for editing, you just need a right converter to convert camcorder video to iMovie DV, I recommend you iSkysoft Mac Video Converter, it can convert Video between Almost All Formats. such as Camcorder video to MOV, etc. Following is a step by step guide about how to import flip video into imovie on Mac OS X: http://www.video-converter-mac.org/how-to-import-flip-video-to-imovie-imovie-09-included/ Hope it can help you.
